    What now of "the squad"?

We were good for the start of last season, but comparable with the start so far?

Tighter, closer squad, where.everone play for their team mate.

"We few, we happy few, we band of brothers"

Think Bielsa is a fan of Shakespeare?

Our start so far this year is miles better than last year, the quality of football is on another level. Last year we never looked that good, we were just good at beating what were pretty crap teams to start with.

I've said it before but my only worry with this squad is when we get a few injuries and the fixtures start piling up im not sure whether we have the strength in depth to keep pushing for wins.

That said if we continue playing like we are I don't see many sides beating us, we will lose for sure because we will conceede plenty but I think we will win far more

I think we've got to pray for no injuries to key players e.g. I winced when I saw Pablo holding his calf yesterday, and as I said on another thread, with even one proper central defender I reckon we could have beaten Swansea.

If we dont bring in 2 good players to strengthen the squad it will cost us. Of that i am sure.

Not that I would question... or even suggest to MB what to do but I would humbly suggest he tell this side:

"You are the squad. we win or lose with you".

In the case of inevitable injuries and bring up youth player. Chemistry is such as fragile thing on teams and this team has it. Don't mess with it.

Maybe we defo need another centre half, Having watched our so called 2nd string against Bolton in cup i was just as impressed for most of the game, We pressed and the passing was slick, We have very good players on the bench and i would be happy with any 1 of them stepping into the 1st 11 if needed, Not to mention Dallas and forshaw to come back, Our squad is better than some seem to suggest.

We certainly need another couple of quality players to future proof the squad in case of the inevitable:

injuries / suspensions / spitting incidents / international call ups / running out of steam due to pressing everything at 100 mph / drink driving

I vote for another centre half, a defensive midfielder and a striker (still not convinced about Bamford and not sure Roofe will be able to sustain his current excellent form for a full season; either that or defenders will work out how to counter him. Hopefully some of the academy / development players can provide cover for other positions - left back in particular.

whistl some of the play when we have the ball has been sensational the biggest change for me has been defensively. The urgency to get the ball back and also so far not looking like we will concede at any moment.

as mentioned above, I like how different players keep stepping up too.
