Who's next for The Poisoned Chalice?

With the Kevin Nolan era complete, who do we reckon is next up for the Meadow Lane hot seat?

Cotterill. Proven success at this level and knows the club, has the goodwill of the fans too despite the way he left.

Has the goodwill of some of the fans because of the way he left.

Actually, I'm warming towards Mick McCarthy, thinking about it. Would he come?

Gary Bowyer or Steve Cotterill would be fine for me. I was thinking that before I opened this thread, so it's interesting to see others thinking the same.

Mick McCarthy is also a very good football league manager, but I think he would expect a job at a much higher level, and his style of football would not please those who continually moaned about Nolan playing 'hoofball'.
