We were very lucky we got what we did for a player who wouldn't do it in training for his manager yet our owner still wouldn't buy his manager a good striker
Nah man I love Rafa as much as anyone but he new fine well that money wouldn't of just been splashed out on one striler. A forward at that price tends to have a decent wage to go with it were imo we had it good with Mitros wage. The strikers he has brought in are worse than mitro simple as that unfortunately

The only thing he wont sell is this club! By the time he sells the club we will be behind the likes of, brentford, Birmingham, rotherham and the pundits will be saying why are these Newcastle fans thinking they can compete with those clubs. Sometimes i wish our club and city was in another country and league bc its football here is slowly getting ruined by money and greedy and useless c*nts
The problem is that, like it or not, Mitro will always be an issue while he's banging them in and we're struggling up front.
it's a moot point whether he would have done it for us because, for some reason, Rafa didn't fancy him so he was never going to get the chance. He hardly covered himself in glory while he was here but the £22 million will only look like a hell of a deal if he doesn't maintain his form.
if, though, he scores double figures this season then it doesn't reflect well on Rafa in my opinion. And I don't see a problem in saying that, either. Managers make mistakes just like players and maybe this is one of Rafa's.
As for Mitro, he's obviously found a manager whose style suits him and his strengths so good luck to him. I just suspect we may regret selling him.
rafa wouldnt play him
he is too attack minded
and he wouldnt apologise to rafa and his family
we will need goals to stay up joselwho has scored 2 in 3 but we all know he doesnt have the class mitro does
Any striker will suffer in that set up.
Mitrovic is gone and he will do the business for Fulham, most likely, of which his start is impressive.
This is the same Mitrovic who apparently always gets sent off and is a ticking time bomb and is far too slow and lazy, apparently.
You never know what you've got until it's gone.
Unfortunately we have a manager that bemoans lack of transfers and not enough money for a striker and yet we let go of one deemed untrustworthy/not good enough/doesn't fit in and worth 22/27 million and replace him with a striker (Rondon) who offers nothing more.
I'd much rather accept that Rafa dislikes him personally, because the rest of it doesn't fit in any genuine way for me.
No striker will flourish under Rafa
He doesn't play enough attacking footy
Would you come and play under him if you were a top striker
You would look at what you are coming into
Maybe 2/3 chances a game
18 20 percent possession in a home game
No support
We won't get a decent striker
Even if ash spent 59 mill on one
We won't get one under Rafa
