He's put a nice team together there - they certainly play much better team football than us. They play an interesting
3-4-1-2 with defenders who can play a bit. They made us and our 4-4-2 look very basic. This is wanted we needed, a manager to devise a system to suit his personnel and establish a pattern of play for it. Nolan had his chance, but a missionary position 4-4-2, hoof to Stead who loses it seemed to be all that came out of a long pre-season.

The odds on being right that whoever we get or how will we do will be crap are pretty good - it works for most years, for most managers and for most owners. It's not rocket science to be right on this issue. In this regard Durham is playing it very safe. He will, sometime, be wrong,. hopefully.

if i think the manager is crap i will say so. Its up to the Chairman to find the solution not me.. Its amazing how so many on here idolise crap managers and are quite happy to see the club bottom of the league...
