Wimbledon and Accrington both played in EFL Trophy tonight but PURRINGTON and IHIEKWE were not in their match squads

BRAY (NLN, York C.) subbed 64 mins (injured?), D2-2.
He was brought down for the penalty which led to York's first goal, and for the free kick which led to their second.

08/12/18 - Today's loan squad statistics (and with our strange team selection today, should we bring some of them back in January?)

IHIEKWE (Accrington S.) not named in squad/match abandoned
    PURRINGTON (W'don) played 90 mins, booked, D1-1
Da. BALL (Bradford C.) played 90 mins, booked, D3-3
YATES (Carlisle U.) subbed after 10 mins (injured?), L0-2
    ONARIASE (Dagenham & R.) played 90 mins, D1-1
BRAY (York C.) on as sub 55 mins, L0-2
Do. BALL (Aberdeen) subbed 76 mins, L0-2

    None of them scored

Team selection today may have been dictated by injuries, knocks, niggles and illness that we aren't privy to? Not sure if any of our players out on loan would add anything to what we've got except to patch up holes if we lose any of our loanees or suffer injuries. Sure PW will be looking to strengthen using other means.

Just been watching the EFL tv highlights... first goal from David Ball was a defender's deflection from a mis-hit shot, although the second was well finished.Three goals in the last two games for him. Nice one-two for the Yates goal. Could either of these players be recalled to fill in the "behind Smithy" role, even though it would be at a higher level for them? Think I'd rather see one of them there than Williams, who is really a winger.
