Very unusual to do an interview following a sacking. But I think and hope that clears up any misconceptions that fans read “between the lines”.

And at least we won’t have the usual “in the know” nonsense about “other factors”.

Crystal clear why Kev was sacked, and pretty clear he was in charge of selecting players to sign.

So those reading stuff into things like Collin’s comments are out in their place.

I must agree with you Elite. A strong solid defence begins with the man between the sticks.
The present incumbent in no way fits the bill.

Karl Henry is one of the experienced midfielders we're apparently interested in and I think Leigh Curtis said he was probably still a possibility and that he'd been training with us recently? Might have made the last bit up, not sure, it's early

Young goalkeeper Curtis Hall was released by the management and told there would be no progression for him as all three goalkeepers would be offered new contracts. So who's decision was it to release Collin? Nolan or Hardy.

Or maybe when Nolan gave Hardy the list, Hardy said the budget would mean he either had to not offer another contract or scrap a target. Things change, also, maybe he was trying to soften the blow? Instead of saying you won't make it, trying to be nice? Let's face it, he'd never got onto the bench or match day squad, wasn't used in reserve matches, he obviously wasn't rated

Crossley also alluded to all three keepers staying next season if possible when he spoke in depth about them last year and Noble and Collin have pretty much said on twitter that it wasn't Nolan's choice.

Shame they didn't release Fitzsimons instead of Collin though

Why on earth has Hardy named his shortlis of managers. I know he is new to football but that is very unprofessional given some of them are employed at other clubs.
