Magpiemalc - you are right. As the late Larry Grayson used to say in his inimitable way was "He seems a nice boy, but does he have any experience?"

You'd have to be on to a sure fire bet to part with 400 000. Kewell ain't that.
What would AH be thinking in January if we're stuck in the bottom third of the league, he might be thinking that money could come in handy now (to pay off a 2nd manager and reinvest) and he might lose his mojo for the whole caboodle!
Kewell could be the new Tony Agana in terms of an investment that has a big impact on our prospects for years to come.

Whoever we sign there is a huge amount of luck involved.

I don't recollect anyone being hostile to us signing EXPERIENCED manager John Sheridan and he turned out to be an absolute crock of sh!te - 10 straight defeats, setting an all time record low - proving the point that experience does not guarantee success...

He's not going to pay that though, hence the negotiations.

Great first post malc, it reminded me of the way the Red Indian chief always used to talk in cowboy films in the 60s!

"Paleface, he speak with forked tongue".
