Wasn’t expecting much to be honest.
Sounds as though we didn’t make mugs of ourselves and we have the financial cherry of a share of a decent attendance.
Hopefully all will learn from the experience, particularly our management team
So our best cup run in decades comes to an end
Thoughts?

Pretty much agree. Started well and comms quite complimentary about us on TS2, but miised good chances when time to pull it back and then conceded straight away when we finally did pull it back! Overall, they've got better players than us and it showed in the result. But sounded like we gave them a good game and it will help us gel together for the season ahead.
A complete waste of time in a meaningless competition.
No interest what so ever.
Please scrap this mundane mediocre and humiliating affair.
Delighted we are out.
Can't believe we have so many mugs willing to throw their cash away.
But it’s a funding stream that helps club finances.
As a competition though it’s been choked by the ever growing influence of the Premiership so the real mugs aren’t those at Everton tonight but those that fund the Premiership via Sky TV, relica shirts and all of the paraphernalia that goes with it
Listened to the Radio Sheffield commentary (Andy Giddings and Ronnie Moore) It sounds as though they gave it a real go, and we actually missed one or two good chances. Everton reserves are still full of premiership standard players, and they can expose our weaknesses at the back more clearly. Vyner seemed poor again. Midfield-wise Wiles and Palmer were hardly mentioned. 2-1 to them might have been fairer result. Our players can hold their heads up high with this performance.
I have been tonight along with the other 2000 millers. Absolutely fantastic atmosphere. We are not mugs but supporting our team who were a credit to the town and the club. What an effort from the lads, they did us all proud.
Good to hear. Great attendance. Does the gate revenue get shared?
Not sure if the rules have changed but teams used to get 45%.
Winners last year got £100k as prize money and runners up got £50k in prize money, plus what revenue they made from previous rounds.
Not been, had to rely on Talksport2, Radio Sheffield and a few pals that did go.
Great attendance with around 2k Millers supporters.
EDIT : Lewis Price MOTM
