Ashley is a parasite on the club sucking away the life blood of it.

I'm genuinely worried how much damage he'll be able to do before we finally get rid.

well with a world class manager and coach ike rafa
and a player we brought wisely in Lascelles and the lad injured we supposably have a decent back 4

it doesn't matter how much you pay for a player
    its how they are played

    rafa is to blame
he just isn't getting a song from any of our players

they cant all collectively be ****3

yes ash should have given him another 40 mill

but would ypu come and work for rafa

after the dross he dshes up here

even Lascelles was questioning his tactics

Rafa is not to blame. The lack of support Rafa has is to blame.

Sports Direct Tat would rapidly go down the pan if it was run the way fatty runs this club.

    And therein lies the problem.

Football just isn't a business like any other and Ashley either doesn't get that or is gambling that he can run it like Shite Direct. His gamble has failed twice and looks like there's a very good chance the third time is on its way.

    Think about it this way:

Our owner's day time job is taking over distressed brands, stripping costs to a minimum. And trying to get the biggest return from the hollowed-out shell that it left after cost-reduction exercises.

His methods can appear ruthless. Because he is only capable of making one-dimensional decisions - some are good and some are bad. And if any have a big blast radius, he doesn't care.

His management structures, decision-making processes and lack of oversight are all so bad that they drew attention and criticism during his Committee appearances.

What makes anybody think Newcastle is any different to his other investment vehicles.

Fat Pig is not evil. He's just not as engaged as we are.

He doesn't want us to fail and go backwards. He just won't invest to take us forward. Or pay any mind to the wailing of the fans. Cup competitions don't matter. Players don't matter: as long as their wages are kept to the bare minimum, like all his other businesses.

Rafa's only asset is his enhancement of our sale price and his willingness (despite the grumbling) to work within the cost structure laid out.

    - - -

Until Mike goes, our glories lay firmly in the past and the highest height we will ever hit is mediocrity.

Your pronouncenents are usually bad but this is another level.

I would play for the toon for free. If I was not a fan it would take more than a hand job from Ashleys missus and a 50 quid netto voucher. Ashley.

I would play for Rafa if the team was being invested in and were on the up. Ashley.

No tune from the team. It was a second string team from a weak squad. Ashley.

It does matter how much you pay for a player because in the normal world quality items cost more. Would you paddle accross the north sea in a dingy or would you buy a yacht? Which would be more fit for purpose?Ashley.

You dont know what happened with Lascelles and if he did question tactics its because he doesn't have the tools. Do you think Rafa wants to sit bavk and defend against championship teams? Ashley.

You get what you pay for. Ashley

Rafa has broken bread at the top table many times. Now he makes do with crumbs. Ashley.
