    Queens Loan Policy

No one that supports us can have failed to notice the amount of loanees Queens have had over the last few seasons . This has worked well for us as very often these lads give us an instant boost when we need it most . Coming from a higher league ( usually) , they have a good professional attitude ,trying to impress their parent clubs when getting the chance of competitive football. Of course it suits our club financially as they dont have to shell out their full wage, usually paying part of it while the loan period exists. On the other hand , teams like St Johnstone have benefitted greatly from loaning us their prospects . We dont need to look further than Clark , Kerr and Kane for evidence . Dom Thomas also gave us that initial lift in his two spells at Palmerston. We are in fact getting these lads ' battle hardened' to go straight into their first team if required. I can see Queens continuing this while our finances aren't too good and teams will be happy with sending players to Palmerston knowing they will get a chance .

I'm surprised Dom Thomas hasn't been loaned back to Queens as he hasn't featured for Killie this season.
