So, just to get this right, they were offered £2m after two months for a guy they got for nothing, who performed on a distinctly average level, who they then gave an improved contract to, thus shelling out more money over the summer, who they then decided to hang on to till the very last minute, until eventually he could walk for free?

So here it is, the only players we can sign now are the ones out of contract. They'll not be match fit as seen by the signings in Mixus reign. Yet our creativeness in midfield is nonexistant, our right-back area is still an on going concern. Do I really want to watch the same failings over and over again?
People said the Bosman ruling was bad, yet imo what the paying football fan has to endure from the establishment of FIFA regarding the Transfer Windows is much worse. The people at FIFA are not concerned about the small clubs, they just look after the bigger clubs.
