We offered him a contract - he refused. In the meantime we have added to our squad and cannot bring in players now without others going in the opposite direction. Thats just the way it goes.
But hey ho, why not just blame CL for anything and everything.
Besides, with the level of injuries he has had over the last couple of seasons, would it have been worth the risk? Not so sure.

I dont think we have too many players in any position, but finances say otherwise. As to Ralston coming back, i would love to see him having had a pre-season under his belt, rather than back from injury loan deal of last season. Cant see it though as Murdoch and Wardrop have that all tied up.
Direct replacements for the departed might be all that happens.
