Marriott, Nugent, Waghorn, Bennett, Wilson, Lawrence, Jozefzoon and Holmes ought to give us sufficient options though there is clearly no target man/battering ram in that lot. Prob speaks volumes about the way Frank intends to play.

Personally I’d have preferred to keep Jerome over Nugent, other than that...totally agree.

Manx have to agree Nugent is a far better player than I thought he was He has great vision and he is skilful Takes defenders where they don't want to go He also looks a lot fitter now since the new management came in He's been a major plus this season It looks a promising pairing with Waghorn

Agreed, I've been very impressed with him so far

I think the simple answer is that Nuge plays the way FL wants his CF to play. Martin and Jerome have other skills sets.
