Where are all the people who were saying for the last few years that Rooney was finished?

I’m pretty sure some of you posting on here it was a horrendous decision letting him go were saying he was done.

Aldo,pacman and mason definitely didn’t but I’m pretty sure a few of you did

You can suck up to those named posters all you want you sycophant but I'm not sure if I said it on here; however, I thought he was done at Scottish Premiership level...

Just because we aren't scoring doesn't mean that Rooney was the answer. We got good money for a player who's career is only going one way....

The problem is the current three favourites, May, Wilson and Cosgrove aren't any good...but that doesn't mean that I want Rooney back

Good shout.
I'd expect if we took in circa the £7M touted in the summer, we should be prepared to spend £500k on a replacement.
That should get a decent centre half for the Scottish League
I'm sure the likes of Heneghan would fall into that category, we may even get cheaper given he was transfer listed.

Who would be the youngsters you would give a shout for?

I don't know who the up and coming youngsters are in Scottish football, but you'd like to think somebody within our scouting network who watches much more football than me, does! Players like Ferguson. We should be in there snapping up guys like Morgan, Allan, Christie etc before they move to Celtic / Rangers.
