Yup. Stewart came close twice against Hamilton. May has barely come close twice all season.

In fairness May had got himself in a good position at Cosgroves second goal at Hamilton and would probably have scored had the ball been shared to him. Although that is probably the only time this season ☺

Scott McKenna getting a hamstring injury today will more than likely make sure he isn’t away during this transfer window. Hope the lad recovers quickly as he is one of our top players.

Do you think McInnes will push for Joe Shaughnessy this month since we have a few injuries to our central defenders?
We have 2 loans so shouldn’t be short of a bob or two for more signings....plus we have the DNA cash to dive into.

Can't see us paying cash for a squad player. Would be better using the loose change to present Halkett with an enticing offer. Halkett/Devlin with Joe would be decent enough for next season - so get them in for free while we can. Transfer fees will be needed for sourcing a Logan replacement and flair midfielder in the summer. Use the leftover DNA monies for Moult's season long loan assuming we haven't done the McKenna to Derby for £8m with add-ons and Max Lowe deal by then.

Where the fu ck does this ongoing, collective hard on for Louis Moult come from?
He's a bang average target man who had a hot season and a half for Motherwell.
That puts him on par with Michael Higdon.

We have a younger (previously and potentially still) bang average target man, who is on his own wee hot streak having outscored the world in the last six weeks or so.

If we're looking to upgrade from him let's set our sights higher that Louis ba sta rd Moult.

Not sure about the Logan replacement either,a lot of people want him to be replaced but I can’t see that happening.

If it was up to me we wouldn’t offer Considine a new deal but the problem is that they are both favourites of McInnes so they will both be here next season.

I can’t see us going for this Halkett either,Joe Shaughnessy won’t be coming here to be a back up.

Logan was good yesterday and Shaughessy is experienced.

Halkett has only played a few games in the premier league. I know there's posters that don't like the idea of players that need to step up.

We really shouldn’t worry about what we will do the rest of the transfer window as we have our 2 loans as many predicted. We go again.....

I get the feeling the club will announce a new deal for a fans favourite to either soften the blow or to knock the stuffing right us after the match on Tuesday evening. Andrew Considine on a wage busting 3 year deal
