Surely we'd be after Hayes long before Morgan
Surely we shouldn’t be after either?
No more loans from Celtic please. I would however take Hayes back if we could get him on a relatively cheap permanent deal. Selling him for £1.5m and buying him back for say £200-300K is pretty good business and he could still play a big part for us. He could well play left back, as he would play that position in the same manner as Lowe did to great effect.
It would be classic McInnes to sign Jonny Hayes & Kenny McLean on loan.
It would also emphasise how sh1te Aberdeen’s scouting policy is.
Under no circumstances should we be loaning a Dhim
Looking forward to our burst of activity before Tuesday as Del hopes to get someone in the door before our trip abroad.
If we get another loan from Celtic however we would be just as well shutting the doors at Pittodrie. Who honestly would like to see another Celtic player playing for Aberdeen on loan to get his fitness and ability up a notch for Celtic to benefit next season? We all would be better just chucking it.
What about if signing Hayes meant we stopped developing Connor McLennan for example?
Hayes is 31, had a broken leg & hardly played.
It’s a no from me.
As for the suggestion of playing him left back, call me old fashioned but I’d rather we signed a left back.
I like Taylor at Killie but may be too much money.
We are lucky every other team has regressed. Look how many points have been dropped. What are we 24 already? We are very lucky the league is going the way it has. Nae often we will see all the top 5 dropping so many points.
As for regressing.we still are. I will stick by it. Good bit of form fair enough v the bottom 6 and hearts who are in freefall with a feeble tactical display v yhe pigs in the mix. Only 6 off 6th who have a game in hand.
Im sticking to, we are not a good team this season. Im yet to see anything to tell me different
Its great to see such poor form from everyone as its keeping it looking competitive and making us look half decent
