Question... our annual January pilgrimage to Dubai - I can see that it is beneficial to the existing players etc and I understand it's usually funded by one of our sponsors so no additional cost to the club (I think?) but does anyone think it might have a detrimental affect on our January transfer dealings? I know that a lot of stuff is obviously done remotely now, but surely if you're bringing a player in you want to meet them in person, which is easier done if your management team are in the UK.
I suppose the existing squad are more important than the one or two players we might potentially bring in, but I just wonder if it plays a part in our inactivity, usually until the very last minute.
I've got a feeling we will bring in O'Halloran - he's a classic McInnes style signing and he can play on either wing, in behind, or right up top.
