Yes but the dna money hasn’t been spent,we were supposed to have offered 500k for Marquis around the 10th of July,since then we have signed Cerny on a free transfer and taken Ball,Hoban,Wilson and Lowe on loan.We also sold Rooney for around 300k so unless we spent 800k on a free transfer and 4 loan players where has all that money gone?

It's a fair question on the £500K (if that is the true figure) although as I said earlier McInnes twice recently has said the Rooney money is unspent. Wilson will have used up some of the £500K as his loan fee will no doubt be more than the wages we would have offered Marquis, but you would imagine there must be some money left, albeit even if it was £500K we offered these things are usually staggered so maybe not all was to come from this year's budget? We have also spent money on Ferguson since then although you would assume that was budgeted given we must have had a fair idea what the tribunal would decide.

It was around the time we put in a 500k bid for the lad from Doncaster, I find it hard to believe we paid Man Utd and Derby to loan their players the amount we offered Doncaster for their striker so what’s happened to that money?

I wonder what tales of nearly signings we will be talking about when this window shuts. I believe it’s all bluster anyway and has no relevance to the squad we do get. Christie wasn’t coming to Aberdeen permanently for peanuts. McInnes and Milne can spin it any way they want but the truth is he isn’t an Aberdeen player at the end of the day.
