Ah hear ye min .... tho Ah understand that a lot o' text talk and 'over-abbreviation' came aboot due tae the fact there used tae be pretty tight limits on the number o' characters which could be sent as a single text, Ah still cringe when addressed as 'M8' .... fυck sake ... 'mate' is only 4 letters ... and nae difficult tae spell. M8 is a fυckin motorway fae Weegieland tae Junkieville wi ****holes aa the wye on either side!!
But the ane that biles ma ρish is 'hun' .... used wi' the best o' intents, maist commonly as a gesture o' concern towards somebody fa's upset or ill ...
" R U OK Hun?"
.... screaming out for the response ....
"No Ah'm fυckin nae OK ... but wis holdin it to-fυckin-gether til you ca'd me fυckin 'HUN'!!"
(There ye go, enough Doric in there tae gie folk somethin else tae greet aboot )
Kids have started spelling in text talk short hand at school as they have forgotten how to spell. The world is going to end up full of dummies and mongos
Anyway f@ck off Lewis Morgan ( i bet he uses text talk too)
