Ridiculous. Hoping to take in a Portland Timbers game soon whilst visiting the brother in law (not too far away from you lol) .... apparently they get 40 000 gates on a regular basis?
Was watching this game today and this must be the most bizarre red card I have ever seen! Ref didn't even give a foul but someone on VAR got in his ear and after consulting the video he sent the player off. General consensus of the pundits was that the card will be rescinded and the ref may never be in charge of another game. Take a look:-

Yes, the West Coast MLS teams all do well for crowds, just under 40K at that Seattle game today. Small fry though compared to college 'football'. University of Washington opened their season today playing Auburn in Atlanta in front of 80K. People here were wondering why travel all the way to Atlanta to play their opening game. It was then disclosed that they were receiving $4.1M from the game sponsors, Chick-Fil-A. Not bad for 1 game, especially when none of the players get paid.
Ended up watching this

Some funny red cards here, imagine if all taunts were punished we would see a lot more bookings.
