Thread: Mike Martin - do the right thing please

  1. #111
What I'd like to know is who recommended him and what background work was done before appointing him.

A couple of phone calls to anyone who was at Hearts when he was the manager would have heard the word charlatan mentioned more than once.

He is a complete clown and always has been. Every minute he remains at our club drags us further into the sh1t.

We got worse when he took over last season and he has served up the same drivel this season. Why is he still here?

For a chairman to accept utter garbage of performances for so long, shows me that he is not fit to be the chairman of DUFC. All what was said about ST ignoring others opinion and MM was by his side all that time, pot, kettle, black, springs to mind.

A draw wasn't good enough, the only delight I took in that was the fact it was Fyvie, not acceptable result, performance of tactics, awful tactics, far too defensive and no urgency, he doesn't command respect

Get him to fk, he is holding us back big time and we are in danger of wasting this season, it's just not acceptable Mr Martin and its down to your incorrect decision to stand by Csaba

I think the board might be considering a change by now.

When MM did that long staged interview when the questions were chosen to suit his answers a couple of things struck me about it.

The first was that IIRC Csaba was not even mentioned. Although I think stability was..........

But what struck me was that whereas ST had no clue about business it's obvious that MM does, and has a business CV.
And it's this point that makes me think we might see a change sooner rather than later because MM will be aware of the massive financial set back staying in this league will be. This assumes of course that he feels we NEED to get back up this season.

If he feels we don't need to then we're more f u c ked than I thought.

Maybe he's delivering what he promised at his interview:

ST: What's your plan Mr MLaszlo?

CL: Well you're top equal now so I'll take you down to scraping a play-off place and we'll lose at some point in the play-offs. I'll bring in a complete new squad in the close season, use the League Cup fixtures as pre-season warm up games and once we're warmed up, I'll continue to serve up the same horse sh1t that took us from top to 25 points off the top last season.

ST: That's the stability we're looking for, see you Monday. Actually, you'll not see me Monday, I'll be in Nero's.

Some managers are great leaders - and get results based on that alone
Some managers are great motivators - and get results by firing players up to win
Some managers are great tacticians - and outfox the opposition

Some managers are none of the above

Who do we get in that is a great leader, great motivator and a great tactician all rolled into one?

    Honest question.
