I cite the word 'probably' in my defence, n'est-ce pas?

Actually you said "possibly" which makes it ever so slightly more affirmative than 'probably', pas d'argument?

To be fair 'Flapper' Collin was a liability as well. On balance Fitz was the better keeper last year but has gone backwards this season.

    Maybe Norm is the problem!

Coming in as a number two, you know as soon as the number one is back, you'll be out so it's a lot less pressure, being the number one adds a lot of pressure and he obviously has cracked. It was obvious he cracks under pressure, he showed that by getting sent off!

"To be fair"??? That's not being fair in the slightest. Collin had a good, consistent season and made very few mistakes. Fitzsimons looked a reasonable deputy last season but never looked as reliable as Collin. This season he's been an absolute disaster.

I suggest you do a bit of research on t'internet. In trial games, possible v probable, it is accepted that the latter are more likely to make the cut ... so probably is more affirmative than possibly. Game, set and match, n'est-ce pas?

Not having that, Adam Collin was miles ahead of Fitz, hence Nolan saying without his injury he would have been a contender to get in the league 2 team of the year. People used to moan about his distribution which was complete b*llocks, as is being proven now by Fitz kicking the ball nowhere near anyone or straight out of play. You might not have liked Collin last season but he was far from a liability, Fitz ALWAYS looked dodgy on crosses and didn't do anything else better than Adam Collin did.

He hasn't gone backwards, people are just seeing him for the non league standard keeper he has been throughout his career.

Nolan also said that we didn't need any more defenders and that he was happy with his squad. We know how that turned out!

    1. I can see you are a wise and learned one Sid, I bow down to your greater knowledge, although regardless of your educated use of lexicon you very much emphasised the word 'THE' suggesting you were indeed of the opinion it was 'THE' biggest mistake . . . but I forgive you and accept your explanation.

    2. Si vous parlez une deuxième langue, je préfère que ce soit l'espagnol . . . gracias
