Warney needs to search high and low to see if there is an out of contract central defender available that would suit.We do not want Ajayi moved away from this midfield role,that would be catasrophic.

They say Vyner played well for Plymouth in that centre back position so we could put him there and he is a bit of a liability at right back. We could put Jones at right back there or failing that Vaulks who has not done much in cm this season.

What happened to the out-of-contract defender from Chesterfield who was training with us at the start of the season and filled in for us in one of the friendlies? Might be ok to go on the bench until January. No idea if he is good enough for this level, but Chesterfield haven't done much since he left.
