    Duffer gone to manage Cheltenham...

    New challenge..?

Duffer is the fans favourite for the Cheltenham vacancy and he is odds on to take over the managerial reins.

I am certain everyone at Clarets Mad wishes Michael all the best for his future career and thanks him for his outstanding contribution to the Clarets cause.

At £30,000 is he the best value for money buy in the entire history of Burnley Football Club? I think he probably is.

I agree with your sentiments BT, he has been a good, loyal member of our squad and was doing a good job with the Under 23 team after his one season with the Under 18s who improved so much under his guidance.
    A real bargain Claret!!

Good luck to him, you never know with any player going into management, but Duffer's one of the good guys, I hope he does well.
