    Donny put to the sword

U21’s won 3-1away to Docaster Rovers, great result for the young lads

That summer clear out seems to have done the trick.

    Excellent result.

That's the Checkatrade Trophy group isn't it?

We didn't win a single game in our group last time.

Longstaff and Roberts did particularly well be the sound of it, Donny put out a strong side as well according to reports with quite a lot of their first team.

Also, maybe the fact Beardsley isn't coaching them anymore?

Beardsley just isn't anything but a great player sadly

Didn’t realise that Steve Harper is back as goalkeeping coach

Aaron’s was withdrawn before kick off looks like me is going to Bulgaria on loan

I saw Harper was back, fairly recent i believe. I personally think that is great as his love for the club should help the youngsters connect even more with the club and want to do well for it.

Bulgaria. . . Bloody hell, we're sending him further and further away each loan window.

Good bit of experience for the younguns against a strong Donny side.
