    Getting over run in midfield

Warney is wary of us being over run in midfield because we lack the quality & arent in a position to go and buy a £10m midfielder.
The trade off is playing only one up front.
Its fair to say the championship is a madsive step up from the standards in league one.
    So what is the solution??

    Horses for courses.
Vs teams who are struggling or lacking confidence attack from the first minute not wait till were 1 down. Go with 442 or 4411 with the right players

Away or Vs strong teams go with 451 or 4141 and again with the right players....

Playing Taylor and Newell adds more negatives than positives.

Keeper, RB, LB lone strike pick themselves simply because we don't have better for those roles.
CB on early evidence there's not much between the 4 of em
Wingers only Williams looks capable so far.
Cm. Arguably our best cm so far has been a ajayi. Manning looks promising and vaulks leaves it all on the pitch, every game.. Palmer has been out of form n towell is prob lacking fitness due to recent injury.

Strikers. If warne keeps playing 1 up top it's always going to be Smith.. sorry warnie Smith's goals won't keep us up. We need 2 strikers hitting double figures..
Playing vassell n proctor 20 min here n there won't do that

Press harder when they have the ball. Force them to make errors or at least not give them time to make the perfect pass.

If we are as fit as everyone else this should not be a problem. Or should it?

We ARE in a position to buy a 0.1 £million midfielder, but we have no inclination to do so.

Start with a midfield of Vassell, Manning, Ajayi, Towell and Williams because that would give the opposition something to think about.
Play through midfield, get the ball out wide and stop the aimless lumping it forward for Smith. If we do play through midfield it would also be worth using Proctor up front for a change and giving Smith a rest.
Newell and Taylor rarely do well when they're picked as starters but are usually quite impressive when they come off the bench.
Most of all, have a bloody go and stop giving the opposition so much respect. Most people think we'll go down this season so let's have a go at proving them wrong. UTM.

At times all it needs is for someone to put their foot on the ball, slow things down, play the simple pass. I dont think you have to be a particularly gifted or technical footballer to do this but you do need to have a bit of common sense and intelligence to know when its required.
Is it down to coaching or an individual not being able to carry out instructions?
