My top 10 off the top of my head.

    Shawshank redemption.
    The longest day.
    Battle of the bulge.
    Cool hand Luke.
    The great escape.
    Top gun.
    Terminator 2.
    Who dares wins.
    Goodfellas.
    Under siege.

I've missed another good few. I might add in later on when they come to me.
I'd just like to add, I've never seen the godfather films.

Who can forget the classic Gunnery Sergeant Hartman quotes like:

*" I will motivate you, private Pyle, EVEN IF IT SHORT-D-CKS EVERY CANNIBAL ON THE CONGO!"

Love that Characher. Bit like Colonel Kilgore in Apocalypse now loving the smell of napalm in the morning.

    😁

Oh and I also love the old 1940 and 50s science fiction flicks like 20000 leagues under the sea and Journey to the centre of the earth - you know the rainy Tuesday afternoon TV films. The original Whicker Man and Hitchcocks The Birds.
