Another 3 goals conceded. One for the stattos as I doubt it’s the worse start to a season ever with us drawing 0-0 with Colchester on the opening day, but it’s got to be up there with the most amount of goals conceded.

League 3 x 6 = 18 goals
League Cup 3 x 1 = 3 goals
Farce Cup 2 x 1 = 2 goals

23 goals in 9 games is appalling at 2.5 goals a game.

I'm pretty sure this will now be the longest we'll have ever spent at the foot of the 4th tier and if we don't win next weekend it'll be a worse start than Kiwomya's opening 8 which I think would make it the worst ever, certainly since the war.

The good news is that only two go down from this division. I'd be absolutely stunned if we finished in the top half from this position. Best we can realistically hope for would be 15th which would at least be better than the other two campaigns at this level before last season, and an improving style of play which would give us hope for 2020. We usually go up when there's a 0 or 1 at the end, not when there's a 9.
