Yeah, I'm not trashing your thread, just saying that for me personally the next two games and the 6 points from them is what I'm wanting and expecting to see. I don't care about Morton this and Falkirk that, these are two games we should be winning. That's as far as I'm prepared to look, doesn't mean I'm saying no-one should look and further..

For me, the first quarter of the season is now the absolute maximum we can afford to give Shaba.

I we are not top, or at worst one point off top, by then he should be sacked. We should be using this period to prepare a list of possible replacements discretely.

Then we get another manager who fails to get us promotion via the playoffs and the whole process starts again.

As you keep saying T. But has it occurred to you that a new gaffer might actually do better than the one we've got?
It's 50/50, some may even say better odds than that

We've been down that route many times with no success, why not try something different? Why not give someone time to build? Why not give the club a chance to succeed? Are we really that impatient these days (for a lot of folk the answer to that is definitely yes)?

    Not me.

I am usually patient. I'm not convinced any more that he can fix this.

This summer saw a clearout, some stupid planning around the LC and a stuttering start in the league.

I want us up, this I think is our last shout before this becomes an extended stretch in the wee league.

Shaba needs us to take control in the league, or step aside for someone who can. Hopefully we have a contingency plan.

End of the first quarter is a good point for that reflection IMO.

Unless we are top of the league with a cushion, he’ll always be 1 defeat away from ‘he needs to go’

Can he get us to the top? I doubt it.

ICT at home on Oct 20. (we’ll have played Partick twice by then due to the rearranged fixture)

We have to be top after this fixture, for me.

We have to top at the end of the season, that's what really matters.

And we won’t with him in charge - simple

You don't know that. However, this season I agree with you. It's a two season job to get us up I'd say.
