    Next 5 games

18 pts a quarter is the target from the board going by a meeting with MM, this group of games which take us into mid October may well decide the fate of Csaba

We have 7 pts from 4 games so far

11 pts required from the next 5 games (3 wins/2 draws or 4 wins)

Those fixtures... and how I think we will fair under Coco Laszlo

    Morton (h)
their new managers first game, Ray left a decent side - United win (reckon we will edge it)

    Falkirk (a)
Ray's first league game in charge - Falkirk win (no confidence we will overcome these factors)

    Ross County (h)
Few ex players in their side and overall look strong - Draw (we grab a point)

    Ayr Utd (a)
Ayr strong at home, free scoring and will get back on track here - Ayr win (probably by more than one goal margin)

    Inverness (h)
Inverness another tough cookie who will come and dictate the play - ICT win (1-0 or 2-1)

Leave us with 12 pts from the first quarter (9 games), well off the pace required and probably around 4/5th

Ayr/ICT to be Csaba's last in charge, with all not yet lost for a decent manager like Neilson or Houston to improve us drastically with common sense, desire and belief

I actually think even with csaba we’ll do better than that.

Falkirk are not great and Ray won’t turn them around that quick.

I don’t think Ayr are the real deal either.

The highland matches are at home so expect united to win at least one of them.

4 wins and 3 wins 2 draws is very doable

    Do you want Houston back?

    You've never mentioned it!

There is an outside chance we could get full points out of this. But we need other teams to pick up points against all around us to set us up. My fear is we have a near miss and Shabba is given the chance to achieve another target.

Canny for the life of me see the hard on for Neilson, boys done less than f*ck all as a manager, he had levien looking after him at hertz and failed (like many) in England.
Let's just see where we after after the next handful of games before drawing up a candidate list.

If Levein was pulling the strings at Hearts, how come Cathro failed so badly? Neilson's Hearts won the Championship at a canter and were sitting 2nd in the Premiership in December the following season when he left. Surely if Levein was pulling the strings it wouldn't have mattered who was the manager?? Yet Cathro went in there and turned them into a complete disaster, despite Levein -'looking after him'.
And he failed in England. Does this mean you would rule out Levein, McInnes, Lennon from future Utd jobs because they failed in England??

As far as i understand, Neilson initially worked very well under Levein. He was then given some space and started making mistakes and was becoming less receptive to Leveins direction and wanted to go on his own. Cathro on the other hand was his own man from the start with Levein staying up stairs. This only led to Levein back on the bench when Cathro was found out and wouldnt listen to anyone who was trying to help.

As for ruling out those managers, well we wouldnt have to as they have all found their clubs, and only one of them would do better in England than they did before.

Wouldn't say I don't want Neilson because he failed down south I just don't think he's done anything of great merit to put him top of the list for some supporters. In all honesty if/when csaba fails and were looking again I don't know who I'd want, hopefully csaba gets them going and we'll no need to think about a new manager.

Could you maybe do a forecast for the next 32 games?
So we'll at least know when we'll be officially relegated.
Save us the bother of going along.

    morton-
new manager in there so will be hard to judge but expecting us to have enough to win esp at home
    falkirk-
Rays in charge so expect to be tougher than if hartley was there but still gonna be tough for Ray to turn them around quickly
    County-
big game hopefully we've shown some level of consistency from morton and falkirk games and can look up for that one.
    Ayr-
Tricky away ground but them getting a doing by QotS might knock the wheels of their start and by the time we play them they might be struggling so wont know until closer to the time but still expect us to winning these sorts of games.
    inverness CT-
their abit hot and cold so god knows what to expect from them tbh

the next 2 are important for us imo. itll set us up for the bigger games county and ICT and itll quickly determine what the future holds for CL.
