In a week where Lee Bowyer was deservedly given the job of Gaffer on a permanent basis, Charlton reward him with another eventful win this time against Wycombe.

Randell Williams scored first for Wycombe on 7 minutes then an own goal scored by Sido Jombatti on 32 minutes levelled the scores at 1 - 1 going into half time.

In the 2nd half the Add1cks improved their performance after Wycombe had the better of the first half. Charlton's 2nd half goals were from Lyle Taylor on 71 minutes and Naby Sarr on 80 minutes.

As often happens at the Valley, there was a nervy end to the game after Paris Cowan-Hall scored from a header for Wycombe on 89 minutes but the Add1cks held out for the win.
