Stephen Dobbie - 200 not out

All being well with the injury picked up against Crusaders yesterday, Stephen Dobbie will make his 200th appearance for Queens this weekend against Ross County at Palmerston.
We is now averaging a goal every one and a half games. Quite a remarkable achievement

We are truly blessed to have him at our football club

He’s a joy to watch and at 35 years old never been fitter. Playing Dykes up along side him has helped him immensely

He is fit enough to play for at least another two years so this is a very good idea and one that the board should pursue as Stephen himself is so happy to play for us.

Lyndon Dykes now only 5 short of 100 appearances for Queens & Mercer 4 short of his 50th

Dykes has only scored 17 goals in 95 appearances, although for the majority of those games he was in midfield.

Yes, Mercer on 46 appearances so far.

Alex Rae tonight on the radio when they were discussing Dobbie for Scotland said "You know, Dobbie has never scored more than ten goals for any of his other clubs apart from Queens"

Well he scored 11 for Dumbarton on loan before his first spell at Palmerston for one.

Does he think 128 goals in 199 appearances for Queens have no merit?
