    and wee henry templeton one of the most skillful players iv seen us with over the years ,never graced real high level of football tho .

    Its only good oldies though mate . McGarvey was old but was crap so he doesn't count . Williams was only a young man when in his loan spell here .

    Both Allan Ball and Iain McChesney got better and better for Queens as they grew older. In fact I still can't get over why Ball was released when he was still on top of his game.

    Don't think you are getting this Doug. Burridge was well finished by the time he arrived here.

    I remember Burridge swinging on the crossbar and apart from that he was useless.

    Brian McKeown played his entire career with Airdrieonians before joining Queens and playing centre back alongside a young David Lillie.

    Rowan Alexander obviously left for bigger things and came back as a veteran player manager.
