Ah but it wiznae though because it was from Tesco
or Asda or a more expensive piece of s'hite from Sainsbury's or Markies.
Buying food from a supermarket at all is dodgy enough, but meat?
Beef from Morrisons is ok
I heard that bacon was number 1 choice for shoplifters years ago.
Anyone buying stuff like that in a pub from some dodger should be shot.
There was a time when you couldn’t go out to a pub in Dumbarton, without someone trying to sell you bacon, cheese or coffee. Great night out.
There was a story in the local newspaper a while back, of a chap arrested for shoplifting in Poundland. Grim
Folk get caught shoplifting in pound shops all the time.
Hardly Raffles is it?
I was pointed in the direction of Morrisons for beef by a ultra rich farmer who part owned the mart.
I have to say the stuff is good, I often buy in bulk and freeze whatever is on offer.
Not that I'd buy chicken, pork or any cooked meat there.
I will buy cooked ham from Lidl
Pork, it's the Polish shop every time, vastly superior to the water injected Scottish muck we get.
Chicken, Halal butcher on John Street although the wife buys some from that twee looking place on Schoolhill and its ok.

I’d avoid all of it. It’s bad for your health & really bad for the animals
