Very strange to have an AGM without AOB at the end

True, but there was a FCB, which explains it.

I know he owns majority of shares but how can he just not answer questions?

Isn't the whole point of the AGM so that shareholders can ask questions?

All AGM’s are closed by the chairman and seconded. Then the chairman announced Any Other Business which the attending members can then ask any questions they like about the company they have shares in

Obviously Ashley treats his shareholders the same as he treats his football fans it must grieve him to have to pay out dividends on the shares.

I stand corrected on my last post as some companies (well those with things to hid) do not have an AOB before the meeting is closed

    Any Other Competent Business
Some organisations choose not to include this on the agenda. AOCB can double the length of a meeting and throw up many unexpected questions and comments. On the other hand, it can be a useful opportunity for those who are involved with, or interested in your organisation to have their say.
    Conclusion of Business
The meeting is formally brought to a close by the Chair.

Well it seems a bit of a shoddy way to run a business not listening to customer or people who have a concern in the business.

But this is Ashley, so in hindsight, i'm not surprised.
