    Silly silly

A decent first half ruined by careless error. Ultimately Hearts were better than us but it's annoying to chuck away a point rather than make them earn it.

That's not the 'two' words I'd use to describe that performance. "Utter sh1te" is more accurate in my opinion.

A decent first 20 minutes apart we were second best and created nothing. No intensity, no flair and no threat. We might have scarped a 0-0 but a daft moment at the back cost us and we can have no complaints.

    Not good enough.

If we play like that, or a fraction better going forward - which is hardly unreasonable against much weaker defences than Hearts - we won't be anywhere near being relegated.

Hearts are a good team playing exceptionally well and we basically matched them. It wasn't brilliant by any means but it was still miles better than the actual utter ****e we served up against Hibs and Hamilton. Losing by the odd goal to a side which this season has played 10, won 9, drawn 1 is hardly worthy of strong condemnation after the guff we served up in July and August.

The run of Hearts (x2), Aberdeen and Killie was always going to bring our improvement in results to an immediate halt, as miserable as it will be to lose the next three, should it happen, it won't merit a return to panic stations.

Teams this season have sussed how to combat our long diagonal balls played forward by simply making sure they win the second ball.It would appear that we don’t have a plan B and our passing this season has been atrocious. We have two wide players in Cadden and Frear who on current form don’t look capable of crossing a road, never mind crossing inviting balls into the opponents area. Both look down on confidence and just can’t seem to get past an opposition defender. Our situation is worsened by the idiotic passback from McHugh which has resulted in Carson getting injured. Let’s hope Dunne and Tanner are not too far away from returning to the first team cause by Jove we need them ASAP

Frear set up the winner at Livi, played well v Rangers and set up the opener at Dundee and is still asked to outside his natural position...it's exceptionally harsh to lump him alongside Cadden's current form.

We were decent first half and created a couple of openings then give away the craziest of goals. up till that point we were doing ok. Second half we did created f*** all. As said before teams now know how we are going to approach games, we need to change it up a bit. We will be ok regards relegation because there are some honking teams in this league. One things for sure, we will be nowhere near the top six though.

McHugh's becoming a bit of a liability. No matter how good a game he's having, your just waiting for the next f*** up to happen.

The sooner Dunne and Tanner are fit the better. Need Dunne at the back and Tanner will offer us something different in midfield,in that we will have someone you will go beyond the front two and get in the opposition’s area.
