If we had yesterday's team available for games against Hull and Wigan we would have probably picked up a few more points too, because our midfield was too weak in the early games. The problems will come if/when we have midfield injuries and suspensions. Need a permanent signing for the "engine room" in January, because Palmer or Wiles would be a risk for playing the full 90 minutes at this level, and we can't keep relying on loan players, whose parent clubs may mess us about. Is there another Stewart Talbot out there somewhere?

We're currently a point ahead of Forest though, who have spent £Zilllions!

Mike, surely the permanent signing as to be Towell? Just look at what he brought to our game yesterday.

If you mean a box to box midfielder who regularly scores, then that is going to cost and we all know we don’t buy 2/3 million pound players.

Sure does Cayton. I'm hoping it might look like that after game 46 position wise at least!

Don't worry Roly. It will look far better.
