    Kevin Beattie

    Sad news this week of the passing of Ipswich great Kevin Beattie at the age of 64. I lived in Suffolk for a couple of years at the end of the 1970's and saw Ipswich a few times when they were one of the best sides in the country and went on to finish runners up 2 seasons running. Beattie was a fine player but only managed 9 England caps. RIP an Ipswich legend.
