agree - and it's been said, cos it was noticed....last seasons PL was a pox - a lot of confusion and disruption within many of the teams...until was sorted, they found their feet whatever - being why it got harder for us in the second half of the season, when they picked up...but luckily we'd gained enough points to get the seventh - mostly thanks to only 39 conceded goals !...so obvious to all I think - that we weren't going to have such an easy run of of it this time around, being why it was so important for us to strengthen, especially up front...but that'd be known at Burnley, after all, it isn't rocket science.

    A bit OTT blueheeler?
I read somewhere that if you didn't make it out of the Championship in four/five seasons you were most likely to get relegated the next.

With our non-existent recruitment policy (even allowing for a mild increase in the U18's/Development squad) you would have to be on the lower end of enthusiasm that we would suddenly make all the right buys to get out of the Championship.

Any fool will tell you that its easier to retain a customer than find a new one.

Equally, its easier to retain Pre status than try and claw back from the brink.

OC and SD have both had the stars line up for Burnley.

A third time? And its believing in Fairies.

No BT; not OTT; just realistic.
