Both players who scored tonight for Villa would probably get starts in a number of PL teams .

Looking at the table tonight it looks pretty dam fine to me if I were a Miller .

Quite simply, we do not travel well.

Thought Smith looked uninterested tonight and was knocked about like a fairy. Proctor showed him how to do it when he came on.
How about Proctor starting Saturday and Smith starts on the bench?

Would go along with that Brin. Proctor looked good when he came on.

Overall not too disappointed. Man for man they had the better players, but if we had gone ahead I think our team spirit would have got us something out of that.

Fairly low millers turnout, I would guess about 300?

Yep bad tempered that's me, can only apologise for that. All in all I'm happy, but there's lots of wasted budgets at this level and it's our own negativity that's holding us back ATM and that's what cost us tonight imo. We should't fear sides and that will gain us more than if we carry on doing so, we need to be positive.

See I'm not being negative just commenting on where I see it, pointing out that we need to be positive and that it is the key so my avatar is bang on.

    UTM!

It’s quite remarkable we are in the same league. Going on their website you would have thought they have lost. What a bunch of arrogant twerps they are.

Sillyseason.com have published the following 2018 salaries for some of the Villa lads.

    Weekly Salaries:

    Tommy Elphick £25,000
    Birkir Bjarnason £25,000
    Ritchie De Laet £25,000
    Jack Grealish £25,000 *
    Albert Adomah £25,000 *
    Alan Hutton £30,000 *
    Conor Hourihane £30,000 *
    Jonathan Kodjia £35,000 *
    Neil Taylor £30,000
    Scott Hogan £35,000
    James Chester £30,000 *
    Henri Lansbury £40,000
    Mile Jedinak £50,000 *
    Micah Richards. £50,000
    Ross McCormack £40,000

    * means played at least some part in the game tonight.

A few key names missing from that list who played tonight such as Tammy Abraham who won’t be cheap.

Be critical but be realistic. We will never compete on equal terms.
