Great Yorkshire batting comeback led by Ballance and Brooks - maximum batting bonus points achieved after we looked like we might not get any at one stage. Lancs look like winning their match, but can only get 21 points maximum now, so will still be relegated

I hope Coad can stay with him long enough for Ballance to get his 200.

Lancs achieved same number of points as Notts but still got relegated
Finished 273 all out in their first innings of their latest match and if they had got 17 more runs they would have stopped up

If they had scored ONE more run in their tied game with Somerset... but they didn't!
Yorkshire need 134 to beat Worcs after tea today

Remarkable that they achieved highest bowling bonus points of any team. Batting was pretty dire though.

Yes forgot about that one Mike.
They should have beaten us recently too. Had us on the ropes and then let us off the hook

Another good innings from Ballance (60). Leaning has just hit the winning run to give Yorkshire a 7 wicket victory and 4th place finish

The Wusster tail wagged a bit at the end didnt it, and we made it harder for ourselves than it should have been.
Brooks & Bresnan both seemed to be expensive in the runs and boundaries that they we giving away, but thankfully the 134 needed proved to be easy, thanks mostly to the batting in both innings from Gary Ballance.
So we finish the season well with 2 wins and a no result against Hampshire because of the rain. However it doesnt paper over the cracks does it, we should have done better than this.
The biggest let down for me this season was our appalling collapse in the One Day Semi final, although Im not too bothered that we didnt make it to the T20 Qtr finals.

No, it doesn't paper over the cracks. Mind you 2 down from 8 is tough. If you applied that to football you'd have 5 or 6 down (if my maths is right!)
