Villa looking for a new manager, and I'm mightily relieved that our Sean doesn't seem to be in the running. Long been my worry that Villa are one of the few clubs that could take him off us, if they had a mind to, and he might be quite partial to a move nearer home.

Dyche would turn Villa around in one season flat, but I cannot imagine he would want to drop a league.

He might be thinking he can't take us any further and be looking for a new challenge. There's no doubt Villa have more potential than us, they wouldn't get to 7th and back off like our board have done, they'd want to kick on. And it's closer to home for him. Perfect fit, but they don't appear to be interested...yet.
