out of that list the only one i look at that to me came out with any sort of d=credence/reputation intact was Harold Wilson.

I did well out of Thatcher and Major.

Respected and looked after the armed forces and public services.

    Not like now.

Both James Callaghan and Gordon Brown had to deal with the problems left by their predecessors and the Tory governments in power just before their predecessors.

Had they both started with a clean sheet then they both might have had decent tems of leadership.

You are right there Stan. Each new one only gets in because the previous lot have made such a mess of things that a change is needed.

It's been a continuous cycle since the birth of politics. We have been living in hope for hundreds of years and little changes.

blair and brown hated her that much they used her dna to get elected
they realised old labour didnt work
and you can slate maggie all you want for getting rid of manufacturing (the unions did by makeing us non competitive and the workers for producing ****e products) but labour have been in at least for 12 years since she has been gone and still not got us back as a manufacturing country

getting raw materials here is a major factor in that but im sure you cant blame maggie for us being an island

yep 12 years of labour and there was phuck allleft

brown was that desperate for power he spent the lot
didnt he also say there will be no boom and bust under him and we went into the biggest ever ecession in our klife times as he failed to control his mates in the city

did he not also say british jobs for british workers and then opened up the borders to all

    maggie done what she said

brown and blair were just power hungry people wanting to get away from the councill streets they say they came from and get on the gravy train created by maggie

and blair has the blood of thousands of servicemen n his hands from his weapons of mass destruction lie
maggie took us to the falklands and whilst many died
they didnt do it to cuddle up to the americans and their oil men
