Attacking midfielder isn't he? Good cover for Barnes & Phillips. I don't really want to see Brunt given a wide berth. Happy with the counter attacking pace of the 2 at the moment. Sako should fit in if one of them is missing.
Oddly, he turned down a new contract at Palace and ended up clubless. Perhaps he isn't as good as I think he is.

Thankfully the dinosaur is no longer with us and hoorah to that, however the short term signings are all Pulisesque especially as before the season started we were told the younger players will be given a chance.

He chose Palace over us when he left the dings on a free if reports at the time were to be believed.

His signing may mean Leicester recall Barnes, like they did from Barnsley last season, in jan.

It's a shame Barnes won't kick up a fuss like p rick thorne did whilst on loan at direby, forcing us to sell him to them.

Two managers later since almost a year ago in our history - now let me think! Yes all down to Big Dave the current manager and the lack of ambition from the Board!

I agree these younger players should be playing!

PS - if we finish above Boro we will probably get promoted but then again, with goals being leaked faster than water into the Titanic, it's a pipe dream. You could never blame a dinosaur though for more comedy in our current defense than Norman Wisdom!
