    Loans after the deadline

I see that Jack Doyle has gone out on loan to Maidstone. Is he allowed to do that because they are a non-League team?
If so, would Travis be able to go to somewhere like Wrexham, Salford or Fylde?
Or is he disqualified because he is officially a member of the first-team squad?
    Does anyone know?
I would have thought time in any of those teams would be highly beneficial for him.
All three are quite nearby and doing well.

Yes I believe non league clubs can sign players on a short term loan as for players with first team experience not so sure.
If Travis could move to say Salford for 3 months then move to a high end league one team in January it would only be beneficial to a player currently 5th choice defensive midfielder.

Going against what I put up on my previous forum reply 😉!
Although these are forum type ‘musings’ , nothing in this really causes me the same as: in this situation TM knows what he’s got, and knows what is necessary ie this player needs real game time.
So if that requires a loan away, that’s what will be pursued.
TM and staff see these guys every day in training so is far better equipped to make the necessary calls.
As Champ says : trust in TM 😊

Could we get away with demoting him to the Under-23s?!!
It probably comes down to how many first team appearances he's had. As far as I can see, he has played in eight League games altogether, but he's been in the match-day squad a lot more than that.

With all due respect. What will Travis learn from the coaches at Wrexham? Their facilities will be poor, compared to ours. It would not benefit him. And the standard is 2 levels below what he should be playing.

But he's not playing at all - except perhaps in the Development Squad. Playing adult football would surely be more beneficial.

Maybe his attitude is poor? Maybe that's why? I don't think TM is the petty sort who would go out of his way to ruin a young lad.
He was creating problems in the dressing room prior to the Bristol City game and taken out of the match day squad and fined.
    Maybe is punishment?

I know your probably going to say Dack here, but it's not the same situation. I here this lad is a problem.

I wouldn't want him playing in the non league however. That's as pointless as not playing him.

Is it? We have seen how PL Under-21 teams struggle against D.2 clubs, playing half their reserves, in the minor Cup competitions. Senior football is surely better for Travis than "punishing" him for his attitude. I think that's pure speculation, anyway.
