Banff, Banffshire (**** that imperialist lebensraum “Aberdeenshire” idiocy) is 19 miles from Keith, its far superior and flawless near neighbour.

New Jersey is 3372 (a multiple of 19) miles from Keith, Banffshire, although it doesn’t have a Highland League fitba team, which is just ****ing stupid.

Oddly, Asbury Park in New Jersey has a fitba team, fitba club mair accurately........ but they never play any matches.

When I lived in Aberdeen many moons ago, I went to a few wedding receptions at the Bunff Springs hotel and the hotel had some framed photos on the Banff Spring hotel in Alberta, Canada. Then 20 odd years ago, we holidayed in Alberta and went to the Banff Springs hotel there. Nae photos of oor Bunff Springs hotel there though, although there were elk and moose wandering close to the hotel, aye, in Canada, nae Aberdeenshire.
