Dundee FC's current predicament is of little interest to me, I'm much more concerned about the state of our club.

What I would say is that for the REAL football people of Dundee on both sides, having the 2 clubs in the top division is the ideal.

In my opinion, we have the best derby in the world, where fans of both teams are not divided by religion, geography or any other non footballing reasons.

We have a drink before and after our games without any serious problems and although they are the greatest games to win and the sorest games to lose, there is no real hatred between the 2 sets of fans - although a tiny minority of muppets on forums from both sides try to make out there is.

I dont live in the past. BUT if this is Dundee's Nirvana - and that **** Patullo still says it was better than winning a trophy seeing us relegated- Deeluded is indeed their issue. Seem obsessed. I dont have any dundee mates (as i live abroad for about 9 months of the year) but met one this summer. Never seen his team win a trophy or Euro adventures or the league win. Has a tatoo 3rd May (i think) Doon. We compared our tats and he had a roma 26th april 1984. Now when i showed him my one tat he was underwhelmed - yeah its just the dufc 80s style. I then pointed out we beat roma 2-0 that day.

Spot on - they are an irrelevance to me but some on here seem more intent on focussing on their performance than the ****show we are currently enduring.

It's been hard enough what's happened with us the last three years, but also having to watch them taking major strides forward, what with qualifying for Europe, Cup Finals, top four finishes, massively increased attendan........................, oh,er, hang on a second...........

Best reply yet, that is what is hurting them most about it, had an opportunity to make something of our self inflicted implosion, take advantage of a rare chance of being in top league without us... failed big time, that's why they are the fun
