If my ageing memory serves me right, I recall seeing Jolean Lescott, playing for Wolves reserves as a 16/17 yr old one evening at Telfords Bucks Head ground. I can remember saying to my son, "We have one hell of a player here". So it proved. After making his debut in the first team at 17 he missed playing for us in the Premier League because of a mysterious knee injury. Rumour has it that it wasn't football related. He moved to Everton in 2006 had England Caps before moving to Manchester City in a £22 million move. Further moves took him to Albion, Villa, and AKN Athens before a move to Sunderland. During this time he collected 26 International Caps. He now works for Manchester City.

It is safe to say that he will have done quite well in the financial stakes.

So why is he 'moonlighting' doing adverts for Guinness? I refer to the current advert where the horse rider asks the question "did I save the horse or did the horse save me". Is it just me, or does anyone else think it looks like Joleon?
