    Rocky Mills

I hear disturbing rumours that BFC have "pulled" Rocky's free season ticket because he can no longer drive round Burnley and district selling Lottery tickets on behalf of the club?

Rocky's wife Jean has cancer and he now needs to devote his time to care for his wife.

Apparently, he will still sell the Golden Gamble on matchdays but his free pass is still being pulled.

Surely, we cannot get this low?

The guy should have a free ticket for life imo, whatever he does in future. He epitomises what it is to be Burnley fan. Something rotten at the core of BFC at the moment, maybe a foreign owner wouldn't be such a risk, the current ones seem to be losing their way.

I was on this like a flash this morning, a prompt reply from Harriet:

    Hello Bedlington,

    Hope you are well!

I have seen some of the stuff on twitter, and have spoken to our Foundation Manager this morning who looks after the lotteries and foundation.

From what I can tell, there has been miscommunication here. As an agent, Rocky received two season tickets free of charge, and then on top of this he received a match day ticket when he worked as a lottery seller on match days.

As he has resigned from being an agent, the policy is that he has to return the two season tickets. However, as he is continuing to be a match day seller, he is still entitled to a match day ticket to each match. As mentioned I have spoken to the Foundation Manager this morning, and they were already looking into the possibility of him keeping his season ticket instead of receiving a match ticket so that he could remain in this own seat. Either way, he was guaranteed to be able to see each game Bedlington, the only disadvantage was the free season ticket he gave to his friend would no longer be available.

I don’t know where the miscommunication happened, but I hope this clears it up.

    Kind regards,
    Harriet

Wrong - Harri....as the other disadvantage, is that he wasn't given a Genuine Advantage....without the discussion.
