    Blackburn Up Next.

Wonder if champs will give us an update on how he sees this going.
Hopefully we have invoked the clause to prevent Ben from playing.
I really dunno how figure this one out.
We played really well away to Swansea, where I expected us to lose.
Then outplayed Weds, but struggled against Rotherham. But won.

Rovers are hard to pin down. Got some good wins, but like us are draw specialists. Identical records.
According to Derby fans, they went there to defend and not concede. That might be their plan against 'stronger sides,'
but then again they are at home, and should take the game to us. Can we respond, is the 64k question? Or are going to do what we done well thus, start the first half like on holiday and get ourselves into all sorts of trouble and hope to rescue the game late on?

Anyway, we'll see. I think the draw given our records should be the logical outcome. Always felt an away draw is never a bad result. But before that let's see another cup run, we haven't had 1 in years when we play Stoke.

Meanwhile, somewhat bad and sad news, 'our nearest and dearest' - the world's oldest club unfortunately let slip their 'lead' at the top of the whole league after Northampton gained undeserved draw. Hopefully normal service returns soon and they can once again play 'Atlas.'

Hi Rom. I hope you are well?
Should be a tough close game this one. Funnily enough, if it was at your place, I'd fancy us to take all 3 points. As we appear to have a good, effective game plan away. At home we don't get the space to attack sides on the break, where we are very effective. Correct, we went to Derby to get a draw. We got attacked that night, they really went for us. We stood up to them, and walked away with the point we set out to get. We had been robbed in the last min vrs Villa 3 days prior, and went and got all 3 away points at Stoke 4 days later. 3 tough games in 7 days when we don't have the squad like the likes of you, Villa, Stoke, Derby etc meant we had to go defensive for one match. The other 2 went and attacked them. And caused them both huge problems.
If Dack is on form, you will struggle. By now, everyone has realised he is a class act, so you will put 3 men on him. That leaves space for Graham etc to step in and capitalise. But if Dack turns up, and fancies it, you wont have much choice about stopping him.
Even though we brought in the likes of Brereton, he was not brought in for now. As we want promotion in the next 2 seasons. So we are sticking with the same 11 that played in Div One last season, and staying loyal.
We may not have the greatest side, but we are very hard working, have class, but we have one of the best dressing rooms and team spirit around. Which is what is working massively in our favour.
I believe you and ourselves are very evenly matched, so I expect a very close game. That's if both sides turn up and play to their ability. If either has a slight off day, then anything can happen. I'm looking forward to this one, most games I have been to this season have been excellent. You are very much a direct rival so it will be a good one.

I'll nip back and give you a match report on how I saw things, admittedly it will be a bias but I will do my best to give a fair assessment.
And correct, Brereton will not be playing. Even if he was free to do so, he would only have been a sub.

Look forward to your report. I'll be glad with a point. However interestingly, our striker grabban is slowly finding his feet, so watch out for him, but then again Karanka loves playing just him up all alone so he can be starved of service.

Anyway just be thankful you are playing us not our city's top side, Notts County, they're 2nd in the whole league and was leading it until Saturday last. If you faced them, I think you would suffer from fright!

You had a fair crowd on at your place. And made a decent amount of noise. And you came at us, played well. Threw the kitchen sink. Plus the millions upon millions you have spent this summer, more than us.

And you still couldn't beat us.
All that counted for fk all. All your fans. All your money. Fk all .....But please crack on underestimating us. It's doing us a huge favour

For a promoted side to have lost just once after 9 games speaks for itself.

Although I do hope it doubles up come 5pm GMT today.
